Why Shoppers Are Leaving Stores Empty Handed

Got room in your head for another shopper habits survey?  This one has some pretty interesting findings courtesy of TimeTrade. Their premise: It's all about customer service. Consumers are now holding brick-and-mortar retailers to a higher standard. They expect easy, almost instant access to advice on par with their online shopping experience. 

Based on a survey of 1,000 consumers, here are some highlights:

.. 90% leave without purchasing anything when they can't find the right person to help.

vs.

.. 93% who are likely to buy when helped by a knowledgeable associate.
